The Utrecht Sessions for New Music will be a ten-day residency and workshop for early-career performer-composers, composer-performers, and any other musical creators. Tuition-free and genre-less, we invite participants to bring their own individuality to all facets of the creation and performance of music. Ten artist-faculty-mentors will nurture fifteen artist-mentees, who will be selected through a special application and audition process. Multimedia and improvisatory possibilities will be embraced and explored as we build a final performance together in community.
A total of seven concert performances as part of the Sessions will be open to the public. Sign up below to be notified for more information, including the official program faculty announcement, and application/audition information and deadlines.
